According to new research carried out by hygiene experts from Queen Mary University of London, faecal bacteria is present on 26% of hands in the UK .

Ninety Nine Percent of people interviewed outside motorway service areas claimed to have washed their hands but electronic devices showed that only 32% of men and 64% of women actually    had done so.
